GraphicMail Conclusion
GraphicMail scored 23 out of 25 stars, making it a great service with a couple of slight disadvantages. They offer a 20 MB of image hosting space, which is much more than our Industry Benchmark of 5 to 10 MB. However, you cannot remove their brand logo for free from your email campaigns. We found their Contact Management to be average without the capability to import contacts from Outlook. GraphicMail offers many comprehensive reports, A/B testing, and Google Analytics integration. We found their Customer Support to be very helpful with little to no wait times.
GraphicMail: Email Creation
GraphicMail received 5 out of 5 stars for Email Creation. They offer 20 MB of image hosting space, which is more than our Industry Benchmark of 5 to 10 MB. They allow you to edit your custom images and offer 300 highly flexible templates. You can edit and replace images from the templates, as well as insert up to three columns. GraphicMail also offers a WYSIWYG editor that enables you to easily edit your email campaign while being able to see what it will look like to your readers. You are able to drag and drop both images and content blocks when creating an email. However, in order to remove GraphicMail’s logo from your email campaigns, you would have to pay a $250 onetime fee. The vendor also has extra features such as Facebook, Twitter, Digg, and MySpace integration and an iPhone application.
GraphicMail: Contact Management
GraphicMail received 4 out of 5 stars for Contact Management. They offer a variety of ways in which to import contacts, including from Excel, Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, and Hotmail. We found the ease of managing these contacts to be average. They offer an autoresponder, which allows you to send a standard welcome message to your new subscribers confirming their signup. GraphicMail automatically removes unsubscribes from your contact list, but does not automatically remove bounces.
GraphicMail: Email Deliverability
GraphicMail received 4 out of 5 stars for Email Deliverability. One hundred percent of the emails that were supposed to get through our test were delivered properly. They offer a spam checking tool that searches for words and phrases that might not allow your email newsletter to get through a spam filter. They do not allow you to re-edit the email once it’s been scheduled to send without having to cancel the send. When scheduling for immediate delivery, it only takes under five minutes for the email to send.
GraphicMail: Analyzing Reports
GraphicMail received 5 out of 5 stars for Analyzing Reports. Their reports show opens, forwards, number of clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and spam reports. These reports also accurately reflect user actions. You can display your reports in graphs and export them into a spreadsheet. You cannot receive your reports in an email or export a clean list with no bounces or unsubscribes. GraphicMail allows you to create an A/B test campaign, which helps you test out certain variables that may affect the effectiveness of your email campaign. In addition, their reports integrate with Google Analytics, allowing you to view your readers’ traffic from your email campaign.
GraphicMail: Customer Support
