Users who want to add design upgrades to create a one-of-a-kind email campaign
Emma received an overall star rating of 22 out of 25. The service has extremely helpful Customer Support. However, they do not allow you to import contacts by cut and paste. They also offer highly flexible templates with over 100 different layouts. Emma's Email Deliverability was rated highly because of their Spam checking tool and the large percentage of emails that got through in our testing.
Emma received 5 out of 5 stars for Email Creation. They offer unlimited image hosting space, which is much more than our Industry Benchmark of 5 to 10MB, and they allow you to edit your custom images. They offer over 100 different templates, all of which are very flexible and allow up to three columns. You can also edit and replace images on the template. Emma offers a drag and drop WYSIWYG editor that enables you to easily edit your email campaign while letting you see what it will look like to your readers. Emma offers a preview screen for you to look at your eNewsletter before sending it out. Emma also has great designer upgrades where they will help you design your email campaign, which starts at $99. They also offer Facebook and Twitter integration.
Emma received 4 out of 5 stars for Contact Management. You can import contacts from Excel and Salesforce. They allow you to import contacts from Outlook as a CSV file, and the overall ease of using their contact management is average. They offer an autoresponder which allows you to send a standard welcome message to your new subscribers confirming their signup. They automatically remove unsubscribes and bounces from your contacts.
Emma received 4 out of 5 stars for Email Deliverability. One hundred percent of the emails that were supposed to get through our test made were delivered successfully. They offer a spam checking tool that searches for words and phrases that might not make it through a spam filter. They do not allow you to re-edit the email once it’s been scheduled to send without having to cancel the send. When scheduling for immediate delivery, it only takes about one minute for the email to send. They also offer time zone scheduling of your emails.
Emma received 4 out of 5 stars for Analyzing Reports. Their reports include opens, forwards, number of clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and top performing links. Although they scored high on Analyzing Reports, they do not include spam reports. The reports accurately reflect user actions and can be exported into a spreadsheet. The reports are also displayed in graphs. However, the reports cannot be received in an email. My Emma lets you export a clean list with no bounces or unsubscribes. They do not offer an automatic A/B testing feature, but you can manually develop an A/B test by segmenting your contact list. A/B testing allows you to test out specific demographics to determine how to get more readers to open your emails. Their reports also integrate with Google Analytics.
Emma received 5 out of 5 stars for Customer Support. They offer phone and email support Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT. Their customer support is both friendly and knowledgeable, and there are no wait times. The vendor also offers text and video tutorials, as well as an extensive FAQ section.
Emma offers a 30-day free trial on each of their monthly plans. Their pricing is email based and costs $30 for 1000 emails and $45 for 2500 emails. Email-based pricing allows you to buy a certain number of emails to send. Email-based pricing is more advantageous if you want a “pay-as-you-go” plan.
